Troop 162 was officially chartered by Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in Hampton, Georgia on February 23, 2004. The 14 boys who started this Troop all came from Pack 162 which is chartered by the same church.

As Troop 162 matures, we are thrilled to see many boys progressing in rank and accomplishment. We are now up to 5 Eagle Scouts and have several more working diligently on their Eagle requirements.

Mr. Robert Rockwood & Mr. Dan Jungkuntz are available to assist boys with their path to Eagle. All Life Scouts should touch base regularly with Mr. Rockwood or Mr. Dan to ensure they are meeting all the requirements and making progress.
